Hey My friends.
I hope all are had a good weekend. Mine was so, so as we had to go up to Same Houston State University to gather my nephews belongs. I have to say it went well. No one broke down during the process but my sister is still having a hard time of it as this whole thing could have been avoided. Folks are telling her when it’s your time it your time but she refuse to believe that it was his time so the family says nothing as it’s not going to bring him back. Since I don’t have children I can’t imagine how she feels. All I know is, I hurt from time to time but it’s starting to get easy. I loved him as if he was my own as well. It took us half a day to complete the task and get the place all cleaned up. I felt like I was in a scene from a movie when we closed the door for the last time to his apartment. Only when talk about it with folks is when I have a moment, I know in time it will pass but for now it does still hurt.
Later that evening I took his vehicle and cleaned it up for my sister. She hasn’t been driving it since she picked it up from the impound, but with gas prices reaching $305 a gallon she might as well. Her Durango is a gas guzzler indeed. I was dead tired when I arrived home so I just crashed the rest of the evening. Sunday I didn’t do a lot. I worked on some project work and caught up on some recorded shows. I really haven’t been in the mood to work on project work and I’m sure folks can understand why. However this week is a new week and I’m trying not to let this slow me down. So until fingers meet keys. All have a good one and looking forward to hearing from you soon.
