Hello My Friends
Well it looks like I’ve only been able to update this thing once a week. Really I’ll try to do better but with the business taking off so and my father back in the hospital I really haven’t had that much time. However things are going good. As I mention we had to place my father back in the hospital again for his diabetes. He developed a blister on both his feet and they don’t seem to want to heal. I won’t go how bad it looked but the only way I describe it is skinning a fish. As of Saturday they say he’ll be ok so that’s good news there.
Work was a bitch on Friday yet again. I told my superintendent that something is going to have to be done as they can’t keep sending us kids on unscheduled days and she agreed. Friday since the courts have allows some of our kids when they reached a certain level can go home on a weekend home visit. Well lately that’s been close to 15 to 20 kids and if I get 5 new intakes in well that throws the whole day off which is what happen this past Friday. Needless to say folders didn’t get completed that Friday. Since I have seven days to complete a file I have time as that will be priority one on Monday. As long as I got them inputted to show there were at my facility that’s fine. Learned my boss will be on vacation next week as it’s spring break going on too. However it should be a nice week without here looking over our shoulders.
Did a photo shoot on Monday and it really went well and he had a nice time doing it as well. Got two more today as well. Business has slowed down some but still promoting it as it’s a growing there. However somewhat disappointed that some of my closes friends haven’t bought one but I’m not bitter over it. Things like this take time to build and now that I have gotten it launched it’s time to build it to grow as I have always told folks I won’t be one of those standing in the doorway or Wal-Mart saying, “Welcome to Wal-Mart.” This will be something to fall back on when I do retire. However been making plans to travel to different events as well as making arrangements to do photo shoots as well.
Vehicle is still down as well as the battery. My dad mentioned I need run it to keep the battery up even though it does need a new motor in it. However the tags have expired so I don’t even pull it out of the garage. That’s my next goal to get that back in running order as I’m not happy driving my father pickup but it’s getting me back and forth to work and here and there when I need to. My father has always been one to keep work vehicles and this one you can say is definitely one of those vehicle. It’s not one you would want to take if you were going to a function.
I haven’t heard from my ex in two weeks as I guess he’s pissed at me. I have been wanting to see him as I have so many un answered question but I dare not go up there as I don’t want to be involved in that at all. Got another letter on Saturday of last well from another ex as I come to find out he was in fail for the last ten months for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He was due to get released on the March 9.2007. I haven’t bothered to call or get in touch as he’s been a bad egg all along. I really have to wonder what’s wrong with me that I’m always attracting bad element men. Could it be my back ground in law enforcement? One only know. Well that’s about it for now so until finger meet keys I hope all had a nice weekend and an even better week. I’ll try to do better on updating my blog as well. Just been a lot of changes going on in my life and thank goodness for the better. So again all take care and hope the weekend has been good to you. Hugs.
