What a Week

Hello My Friends
Hope all are well on this Friday. Me, I’m doing good and really happy to just about finish this project. I never had and idea on running a business was going to be so strenuous but I’m getting there. I’ve been getting reports of folks getting impatient as well and that’s understandable too but I have to have things in place or it could get messy here really quick. There aren’t many issues with the publication per say but more with the business however I hope to have most of that resolved here shortly but it’s not going to stop me from putting the product on sale. However once it’s all in place I won’t have to worry about that again and things should be smooth sailing from then on out. This I can say it’s been a challenge for sure. I’ve done projects in the past but never on a big scale like this before. I’m just as ready as the next person to see it launch.

Work this week hasn’t been so bad expect for yesterday. The A.C. went out in the building as we’ve been having that problem here lately. However our headquarter have been able to restart it remotely from downtown. Modern technology it never phases to amaze me. Still it got pretty warn and I was really testing my deodorant. You know raise your hands if you’re sure. So far I received ten new intakes this week as they weren’t on scheduled days but as usually managed. If your from the Houston area and reading this one of our court judged daughter was arrested on Tuesday or Wednesday for drunk drinking and vehicular man slaughter. Her Boyfriend was in the vehicle and was killed instantly when it ran into the back of a moving type truck. Witness say she lost control of the vehicle and hit a truck. Her blood alcohol level was over two points so she had been drinking very heavily. I just hope this judge doesn’t take it out in the courts as he’s been a real hard ass the past year or so.

Family doing well and really can’t complain as we’re all still here and about to end another year. All are health and sister has a BD yesterday as well as two more of my friends. I wished then all happy BD as I’m usually good at that sort of thing. It’s the thought that counts. Suppose to meet Will but I haven’t heard from him so I’m just going to play that by ear right now. He’s back at work after two weeks from his back surgery. I didn’t advise that but it’s his decision. I’ll be in Lafayette Louisiana Nov 4th for the announcement of the king and queen for their Mardi Gras. Take a few pictures for the up coming publications and mingle a little as well. Dad has eye surgery next week as well so it looks like a busy week the first half of it that is. Rainy Days Are Here.

Hello My Friends

Well just about to make another weekend here and I for one will be glad when it’s over. Vacation starts on Monday and I’m going to take advantage of every minute of it. Will my love interest has back surgery today as I wasn’t able to be there for him but I’ll be up next week for sure. You know, do my duty to nurse him back to health. We both are looking forward to that. Tomorrow is Friday the 13th as I have been seriously thinking about taking the day off but the courts are sending me two more kids tomorrow so I need to be here to input them since I’m the intake officer. Plus I’ll have a lot of work waiting for me when I return, such as life.

It’s been raining here but been very cool as yesterday I drove to work with the sun roof open. Of course my allergies were bothering me when I arrived to work from all the rag weed. One of the issues you have living in the forth largest city in the US. Still it’s all good. Project, what can I say about that. I for sure will have that completed come Monday. Things have been moving so much faster once I changed programs to lay it out in. However I still want to use Pagemaker but I’m going to have to do something different with the pictures as they were the thing that was causing the program to run so slow which in case was causing a delay in my production. I know folks have been waiting for it and I for sure am ready to launch it as well. However I don’t want to put out a half done product either. I know I will have critics who will have something to say but you know I have to do this for me and not for them. One would things after working for the prison system for fifteen years I wouldn’t care to much what folks would things or lest say it took me a while to soften up from that as you have to be somewhat hard or you will be ran over. Since I come from a strong line especially from my mother side that wasn’t going to happen. At this point all I can do it get it out and sit back and hear what the critics have to say.

Well that’s about it for now as I’m at work thinking of what I’m going to do next when I finish the paper work for these four I received today. So until finger meet keys hope all have a safe and dry day as I’m high and dry at the moment but that doesn’t mean it’s not more rain on the way. Winter is just around the corner fro sure. Is It Hump Day Already?

Hello MY Friends.
Hope all are doing well in this fine hump day. October is here and it will be a year now that I started this blog as well as my venture on the project. Really hope to have it launched by now but certain circumstance and unexpected delays keep coming up but still I move forward. I’ve done news letters and things as such on a small scale but never something this big before so it’s a learning process for sure. However I feel that once I have all in place the next issues after the first will be a piece of cake or that’s what I’m hoping. Still I look at it as a challenge as I do life and if one isn’t up for the challenge then what’s the use. One could say I have been challenged for sure over this past year. Still I can see the results and they are got he better for sure. I want to thank all who have visited the website ( www.averagemalemag.com)and inquires as well.

Got some disturbing news yesterday that through my whole day off so I hardly got any word done. Those of you I have talked to and know what’s going on I won’t say anything about it here until it’s all said and done. This I can say being that close to someone you ask the question do we really know them at all. Evaluation time at work and we’re scrambling to get info together on that. I feel confident I’ll do well and it will give me my third raise this year as well. I know some folks could say they hate they’re job but I have to say I like of like mine. I have great people I work with and it’s a great atmosphere as well. I guess after 21 years in the corrections field I have paid my dues. It’s good to be able to kick back and just go with the flow of things. No real pressure at all. Then again if there were they know I can back it up. Have to keep a tight ship or you will get rain over for sure. I have to say it’s been a great experience and I never thought I’d go this far or long in the Law Enforcement business. Yet here I am but also about to embark on a new venture as well so we shall see where my destiny leads me. Just One Of Those Days

Hello All
Hope all are doing well as I’m still rolling right along here. It was one hell of a weekend as my nephew was in the hospital again for the fifth time this year from his diabetes. Each time is was ICU. He just won’t do what he is suppose to do to take care of himself. Constantly eating the wrong foods and thing and if he thinks its going to go away he’s sadly mistaken. The bad part is he knows as he’s been a diabetic since he was seven and now at twenty you would think he know but it may sound harsh but I’ve made my peace with it. I have way to much to worry about especially with my father up in age and trying to get a publication launched I just don’t need the headache or pressure.

Speaking of Publication folks have been asking me when is it going to launch and I do thank all for the emails and IM’s as well inquiring about it as well. This first issues is a slow process as there are things that need to be in place plus I don’t want to produce a half done product so it is time consuming but once the first issue is released things should go much smoothly. However again I do thank all who have inquired and working hard to get this off the ground for sure. Being the law enforcement business this time of year is evaluations and training in which I’ve been doing the past couple of weeks to get my 40 hours of my 80 hours to keep my certification. Even though I have been recertified for twenty hears now it’s the time involved with it which takes away my time for the publication. I’ve been putting on long hours when I can and it’s really starting to show it’s affect on me for sure. Rest deprivation for sure as it seems like there isn’t enough time in the day for me to accomplish what I need to do. Still it’s all good as I’m ready to give birth to this baby for sure.
