Hello My Friends.
Well it’s Thursday and I’ve been hard at work here on my project most the day as I took it an tomorrow off so I can catch up on someone of this work. Wash the vehicle as it was in very bad need of it. Since we have been getting a lot of rain our way I told myself what was the use. Since there was no rain in the forecast I took advantage of it and got it cleaned. Going to Dallas tomorrow and looking forward to spending some time with Will. However his schedule can change at the drop of a dime so I’m not holding my breath just on it. Meeting  

Went and got a hair cut this afternoon as well so I can look some what presentable to. It’s been none stop and I have been having some issues saving my work but because they are busy files I usually just walk away from the computer and come back later and it’s usually saved. I hope this doesn’t become a really serious issue as I lost my work once already but lucky I had back ups to I’m good for now. One models layout completed and working on the second one as well. Should have that competed by tonight as well. Still have to pack so I can be on the road by right or nine, Other than that not a lot really going on.

I’m really looking forward to spending some time with Will, Bill and Jeff over the weekend. We’ll talk business and do a little get together as well. So it’s all good. Remembering Katrina

Hey My Friends

Hope all had a good weekend as I was busy working my ass off. I’m really a ball of nerves about now but for some reason I’ve been staying focused. Deadline fast approaching and as I may have mentioned before I’m halfway there. I’m taking off This Thursday and Friday to really make progress on it. Friday I’ll be in Dallas as I’m looking forward to this weekend for sure. Just been a couple of busy weeks is all. Still having some issues at work but I hope to have that resolved come this week for sure.

Today is the anniversary of hurricane Katrina. So I’m taking time out remember then and all who were lost in that storm. We have one survivor working with us on the job and she’s not planning on going back. She told me that if she could have left long time ago she would have. She also said that things have been so much better for here since she’s been here and since she works for my employer there have been number of services that she’s been able to take advantage of as well as the juveniles that have been placed into our custody. I don’t know what the city has planned today for that but I’m sure it will be some thing to remember what’s happen over the past year. Living near the gulf doesn’t worry me to much and I live on high ground for sure. Still one doesn’t play with a hurricane at all. Well that’s about it at this point so until fingers meet keys hugs and have a good one.

Saturday

Hey All My Pals.
Hope all are doing well on this Saturday morning. Me, I’m doing fine and working right along here as usually. Between house work and project I’d say I’m going pretty good here. It’s not hot out yet and it’s been raining here a little bit too but over all things are good so far after all it is still morning. Still have to whole afternoon a head of me. Friday wasn’t so bad but it was a good day for me as well. Issues going on at work that I will get resolved come Monday. Just upsets me every time I think about it so I’m not even going to mention it or go there with that today as it’s the weekend and I don’t need to be stressed out at all.

Wish I was spending this weekend with Will but it’s only six days away before we’re together again so I can wait until that time for sure. Plus I need to get further along in the project than I am so I can launch next month. Just nerves and pressure is all. Staying focused as well. I can’t describe my nerves about now. Still one pushes forward. May go out and catch a movie later on to relax and help me stay on track and just get the hell out of the house as well. Over all I’m doing good friends and hope all are having a good weekend as well. In chatting with a few of you I can see you have some good plans in the works. Was it Hump Day?

Hello All
Hope all are doing well as it’s going good for me today. Unlike yesterday as I had a day the day from Hell. First off, me and my boss were at it again but nothing serious. More less who was approving my time before I started loosing some of it, I think she got the message this time. Got three new ones but it was so much going on one would have though it was a full moon out and the wolves were howling. Just seems like nothing went right. I really didn’t slow down until I got home later that evening and was happy to hear from Will as well. He had a chance to chat some as he really put a smile on my face. It’s good to know that you can chat with someone who would make you feel so good. He and I are making plans to meet Labor Day weekend. Of course I can’t say over to Monday as I have to work but I’ll be leaving late that Sunday night. Will be good to see him for sure and spend some quality time together and learn more about him. I’ve been chatting with him for about three years now and never knew he has a twin. However they’re not identical so I’m not worried there. Plus he’s straight but from Will describing him they have similarities. It just feels good to feel about someone like this again. He’s truly someone special to me and so damn handsome too. LOL As far as my ex goes well that’s been over for over a year now and I still carry feeling for him but its time to move on. I really think that Will and I have a good change and I surely won’t do anything to hurt him at all. When I do make a commitment on thing you can count on is for me being faithful to that person. After all what is the point of committing to someone?

Decision, decision, decision is what’s happening now as I’m rolling closer to the project being completed. I’ve been getting some good feed back as well. Folks can’t wait for it to launch and some say it will be a nice change from the format that have come and gone in the pass. For me I hope so. It’s not as much as a money making thing as I won’t be quitting my day job for sure but more something along the lines to help with my retirement when I do retire. I don’t want to be one of those standing in the doorway of Wal-Mart saying, “Welcome to Wal-Mart.” That’s just not me. I paid my due working in retail for years and even though I enjoyed what I did I don’t want to regress back.

Today had the sixth of six meetings I have a month. I was the sponsor this week and decided to do Chinese for the lunch. It was good and just about everyone ate but there were some who weren’t king on Chinese food. Lucky we had fresh fruit and veggies fro them as well. I have to say it went over well. I don’t know who’s doing it next week as we have an extra week in the month. I guess we’ll do a pot luck.. Well that’s about it for the night I hope all are having a good week as it is Hump day. Hello My Friends
Hope all are doing well and had a good week so far. For me well it’s been busy as usually. We’re really going through a structure changes at work and man has it been an eye opener for us all. For me I’ve really been humping as the intake officer I’ve been getting kids left and right and not always on scheduled which catches me off guard when I have to stop what I’m doing and place them as top priority. We released five yesterday and Wednesday I received four so the population broke even. In my last meeting we have to keep our population down to one hundred now so we’re really releasing them within five to six week now. Workshops, workshops and more workshops is what’s going to happen now when they arrive. My department is so behind on paper work that it’s hard to keep up. Still it’s all work so why complain as long as the paycheck keeps coming in I’m fine.

Had to go out to my ex’s last night to see what happen to the computer.  I was talking with him over the phone on the way home Wednesday night as he was having some issues with Errors messages popping up on the screen. It happen after he ran a virus scan and found two unwanted programs. Instead of telling him to quarantine them I told him to delete them. Well they that’s what caused the problems. So I told him to go back to a restore point and he was trying but without me sitting there to see what he was doing I couldn’t really help him. Well when he attempted to create a restore point and told it to do it’s thing when it went to restart it froze on him after windows did it’s thing. All I saw was black screen and cursor. I feared the worst as I thought the hard drive had went bad but after trying to save what he had on there already with not avail I ended up formatting the drive again and reinstalling XP. That should make him some what happy as he fell asleep by the time I finished. I didn’t bother him and let myself out as I didn’t get home until a quarter to three that morning. Man I can tell he’s in distress with all that’s going on in his life right now. You can actually see it in his face and appearance as well. Having had history with him one naturally wants to help but I have a business to get off the ground and possibly a new relationship so I just can’t get involved with what’s happening in his life. I’ll be there to support as a good friend would do but can’t go beyond that as I see that now. I do wonder what his out come is going to be especially when the kids are older and on their own.

Well today is friend and I’m feeling good as I did manage to get some good rest as well. I haven’t heard from Will since Monday and still wondering if he’s going to make it here or not. We’ll see. I’m trying not to make to much into this as I’m seeing some signs already however I’m thinking with my head and not my heart. So I will have to trust in his word for now. Don’t know what today is going to bring as everyday this week has been a challenge but one I have been able to over come. Boss and I are getting along somewhat better but she’s still up to her old tricks and I did have to say something to her boss over it as I’m tired of getting caught in the middle of her war. Best for me as I do keep my distance from her and go about my daily routine. Well that’s about it for now as I need to get off here and get ready for work. Weekend is almost upon us for sure. Even if Will doesn’t make it I have plenty to do so it’s not going to hinder me at all. Still it would be nice to see him and see where things can go. Back Again.

Hello My Friends
Hope all had a great weekend as mine was some what good. I see I have been slacking off here lately as I have been so busy with work and the project which is about halfway completed by the way. Recapping what’s been happening up until now. Last week my boss and I had it out again. As I may have mentioned I was keeping my distance from her and when I answered a email the she sent me and I basically had a statement in there about CYA she took it offensively. Next thing I know I’m called in her office to discuss what was said. She started off by saying that she was very hurt in what I said about CYA and I told here it was a quote from her boss that I used as she told me to CYA. Then she went on to say that she that she and I have been working together for a very long time and she felt there was some tension between us here lately. At that point when she said that I opened Pandora’s box then. I proceeded to tell her that I didn’t appreciate her and not in so many words calling me a liar and in my face at that. It wasn’t once you did it but twice you did it and I didn’t care to be in the same room with someone who was going to sit there and call me that. Then when I was finished she made the statement that I’m sorry that you felt that way and if it came off as such I apologize for that. However being the better man I did except her apology but working in the business I’m in now for 20 years I’ll work with this person but don’t have to be friends or like this person. To be honest she’s not a bad person but lately she’s been under a lot of pressure at work as we all have. Our structure is changing and it’s just not a good time for any of us. Still it didn’t excuse the fact that she called me a liar and like Mother Love would say, Forgive but don’t forget. So I’m keeping that enemy close so I can keep and eye on her for sure.

Ended up buying a new monitor as the old one just played out on me for sure. I couldn’t edit the pics for my project with a purple screen. So I went out and bought a nineteen inch flat panel from Best Buy for $159.00. $171.59 with tax and there was no mail in rebates. YEAH! It was a steal for sure as a nineteen inch would usually run well in the two hundred range and offer a mail in rebate to bring it down. It’s Huge too my friend. It’s taking some time to get use to as well. We have 17 inch CRT monitors at work and coming home to this 19 inch well it’s a change. For one it’s so bright and then there is the size. Large but not taking up a lot of space, I for sure like that. It’s sure made my project working roll a lot smoother plus as I mentioned I’m about halfway finished.

I got and email Friday from the committee I formed to vote on who would make the cover of the project so that really kicked me in to high gear as I really couldn’t place models in the layout until I had that info. So I notified the cover model and he was oh too happy. I have to say the committee did a good job. Me making the choice may have seemed biased to some so that was the reason for forming the committee so that wouldn’t happen.

Saturday went out to my Ex’s to give his second son his Birthday gift as his Birthday was on the eight of this month. His dad wasn’t giving him a party and poor thing always ends up going back to school on his special day. So I picked up a cake and a gameboy game for him. He was a happy little eleven year old. However he’s not so little anymore. As a matter of fact they’re all growing so that I couldn’t believe how tall they were getting. I didn’t stay for a long period of time as I needed to get back home to work on the project some more. Layout all done and I like the flow of it. Will do a test run on folks shortly and get their opinion. Sunday lounged around the house read the Sunday paper and then got up to work on more of the project.

Monday went to work as it was catch up day. No new intakes as I’ve been getting them at will now a days. Have meeting Wednesday to go over the changes the system is going through and where we stand in the program as well. I have to say I have a good job but lately it’s been a little challenging but then again if we’re not up for the challenge then what the point of moving forward. Me I’m choosing to move forward that’s for sure. Will was in Utah this weekend so my plans to see him didn’t happen. Will try to call him today as well. Thought we had a leak in the laundry room yesterday as water was on the floor after doing laundry that morning. However come to find out that the drain was clogged so I got some stuff to unclog it and it seems to be working. I ran the machine twice and there is no water on the floor but I’m going to change the hoses anyway as I don’t want to come home and the house is flooded from the water constantly running. Plus the hoses are over ten years old and they’re only nine bucks so this weekend’s project will be to replace those for sure. It is and eye opener for sure. Well that’s about it for now I’ll try to stay on top of this but last week was just one of those weeks where I felt like shit and didn’t want to do shit either. Long Day Today It Was

Hello My Friend.
What a weekend I had. Not to exciting but good all the same. Friday I released 17 kids from the facility and ended up getting 4 more. I knew something was up when one of the head honchos calls to ask how many we have on campus. Needless to say they arrived late that day and to top it off the air went out as well so I ended up leaving early that day. Knowing was going to have to be there for my staff meeting the next day I just decided I’ll log the new intake to our facility so they would show in the computer and where they were assigned.

Saturday got up late as I was tired again. Didn’t go to bed until about one that night and finally got my faculties together and made my way to work for the second of Six meetings I have a month. Meeting went faster than I planned as I wasn’t complaining but I did end up collecting 5 hours f comp time as I was completing the files of the new intakes as well as catch up on some work since I knew I was going to be in training all day this Monday. Once I left there came home and tried to do some work but my monitor just wasn’t cooperating at all. I guess after seven years it’s time to invest in a new one as I think I got my moneys worth from this one. That will be happening this week as well. I mentioned the company name and all and that will be happening this week as well. It should take about a week or two for the whole process to be completed as I’m looking forward to putting that behind me. After that I will have to go to the court house and delete the old name as the publication is under a DBA of the old company name. Sounds complicated but it’s something that’s necessary to continue on.

Sunday rolled around and again I wasn’t able to do much as the monitor has decided it wants to display one color now. I’ve almost resorted to beating on it but that usually doesn’t solve the problem but yet make it worse so needless to day I wasn’t on the computer much this weekend or at least on line that is. I can’t use the laptop as Photoshop require a lot of memory and the laptop just doesn’t have enough on board to stop the shut downs or restarts during my editing. I’m able to edit and save a few but not many which makes my job run slow for sure. I could sure use that time on other things. Still that didn’t happen.

Ten o’clock rolled around and I realized I had no clothes ironed to wear to work for Monday. Since I don’t wash on Sundays to keep the honor of my grandmother alive I had to settle for what I had already washed sometime during the previous week. I was up until midnight ironing and only got five hours of sleep before getting ready to head off for my training this Monday morning. I got there and hour and a half early this morning and took over the desk until one of the secretaries arrived. Then I was off to training. Long day it was. In the process I took my cable modem in to be exchanged as the last one Time Warner gave me started going back, Resetting itself and some time not logging onto the internet at all. MAN! This new one really rock, plus it’s twice as small as the previous ones I had. Talk about fast speeds. All I can say is, “I LIKE IT.”  HEHEHHEHEH. I guess good thing do come in small packages for sure.

Traffic wasn’t too bad on the way home for a Monday evening especially when you drive an standard. I love standard but not during traffic hours and it’s not often I hit traffic in the city as I work evenings and the traffic is usually over or heading the other way. Other than Saturday and Sundays I don’t get to enjoy and evening home during the week unless I took a day off. Was kind of refreshing and I could get use to it again however I don’t see that happening anytime soon but it’s all good. I tried to call Will today but no answer. Got his toe smashed on Friday and wanted to find out his progress. Also called Wayne in Canada and no answer there either. I was striking out every where that’s for sure. LOL

Tomorrow I have to get my vehicle inspected as I’m over the five days to do it and I don’t need to be ducking the cops over it. HPD will for sure give me a ticket regardless of my officer certification status so that’s first thing on my list tomorrow. While I’m waiting for them to finish I’ll be looking for a good deal on a flat panel 19” monitor. Glad I didn’t wash the vehicle this weekend as we had 60% change of rain and it poured at the job which didn’t surprised me. Working on the gulf it always rains over there. Well that’s about it for now my friend so until fingers do meet keys I hope all had a wonderful weekend and even better week as well. Busy, Busy Busy

Hello My Friend.
Man have I been busy these past few weeks. So much so I have been neglecting my blog here as well. Recapping the weekend Had friends in from Louisiana and really had a great time showing them the city as they have lived here before but it has changed a lot since then for them for sure. So it was a nice change for them. Got some more work done on the project as well and today found out after talking with the Secretary of States office as I have been wanting to change the Company name and got more bad news, well actually it’s good news too. The name I have been using for the past 6 years has been voided due to taxes not being paid to the City Controller.  Again bad advice I received from someone I asked about that. I should have gotten a second opinion on that for sure. However now that I know I won’t make the same mistake again. Good news is I can leave that along and form the new company under the new name and will be starting fresh for sure as it would of cost me just the same or even more to reopen the old name to use for business. However now that I’ll have Media in the name folks won’t be thinking it’s a medical imaging company or and self imaging company.  The other good thing about it is it’s not going to take long to do at all so I’m happy about that as well and won’t cost me as nearly as much this time as it did the last time.
 
I had a really bad day at work yesterday (Tuesday). A run in with my boss and the red head witch was about to be snatched bald black roots and all. The woman had me so hot I was actually sweating and caught a headache from hit too. For that day forward it was no more Mr. Nice guy for sure. I’ll come there and do my job and speak when spoken to with her and if I have a question keep my question short and to the point and them out of the door. Life does move on for sure. Well that’s about it for now as I just wanted to touch base on here since it’s been so long. So until fingers meet keys hope all have a wonderful week and an even better weekend.
