Hello My Friends
I’m so sorry I haven’t written anything here for over a week now. Still most of you know I was on vacation last week and doing some traveling as well. Put a lot of miles on the Rav and she ran like a dream. However I was getting a little cabin fever from time to time and found myself needing to stop and get out here and there. The leg stretches did me well too as they kind of revised me. Was really good to finally meet some of the folks I have been chatting with over the years. Over all I would say it was a good and productive vacation.
I was editing pics during my down time so I can get them in front of the committee and we vote on who will be the cover model for the next two issues. I’m still getting use to using a SLR digital camera or any SLR camera for all that matters. It’s a big change for me but I’m managing for sure. This weekend if I don’t get company I will finish up the picture editing and continue on the layout of the project. I’ll be traveling to Austin and San Antonio during the month of August. It’s been 1977 since I was in San Antonio so it will be a nice weekend trip for sure. Plus I have friends there as well so it will really be nice to spend some time with them as well.
Monday I went back to work and I have to admit I was tired towards the end of the day since I didn’t give myself two extra days to recuperate. When I made it home on Monday I laid it down and was very refreshed come Tuesday. Was told we received nine new intakes on Friday and of course no one did the paper work on them. I received three of them on Tuesday too so I was a little busy these past couple of days. However the week is rolling along here pretty quick but good one for sure.
Rain, rain and more rain has been happening here for the past three days. I was late getting to work as I live in a high plan area and tried to make it to work but the water was so high I told called in and told them I’d be late for sure. Rain poured more today that the last two days but as soon as it slowed down I was out the door. Wasn’t too bad on the way in but it was still raining well in some areas of the city. We’re told it today is the last day for it and we’ll have sunny skies the rest of the week. Even though it rained it was still hot and muggy out. During all this rain would be the day one would stay home with his lover and make love all day lone. Oh well wishful thinking on my part for sure. Well that’s about it for now as I’m getting a little best and need to lay it down again. Been getting up pretty early so I can work on the project as I’m really getting close to launch. I will really be glad to finally get this off the ground and see how folks will react to it. So until fingers meet keys. Hope all are well and are having a wonderful one in the process. July 18th My Birthday
Hello All
Well another year behind me as today is my Birthday and I turned 46 today. Phone started ringing about 8:15 AM this morning from well wishes and I do appreciate it my friends. Good to know I have great friends out there. I’m still on vacation all this week as well as some more traveling to do as well. Nothing special going on today will have dinner and little cake with a friend then back home. I’m suppose to do and interview today as well but I’ve yet to hear back from the clients. I May have to schedule that at a later date as well. The weekend went great and I got three out of the four scheduled models photos taken already. I want to thank all of them as you know who you are for the cause as well. Without you this wouldn’t be coming together for sure, so kudos’ to you all. I have to say I was pretty tired when I got home after spending more then Nine hours in the Rav. You talk about cabin fever as I was really ready to get out of the old girl. I love my vehicle but I don’t love it that much. LOL
Called the Job as one of the well wishes was my close co worker and she says the place it a mess. Damn I’m glad I’m on vacation. Ceiling tile was missing the last day I was there and you could hear everything that went on in the restroom so I know what the ladies in the lobby where getting an ear full. Now they tell me they’re painting and they have Adult convicts doing it and working in the adult prison system for Fifteen years yes I know how that goes. It will be over a week or so before they finish. Just in time for me to return to work. Even so the place needed it and I will say it will be a vas improvement over what was there before.
I got a change to chat with some relatives I haven’t seen in a while (My fathers side) and there were some good conversation. I didn’t one Interview as I drove into Fort Worth to see Bill perform. He’s really a nice guy and can the man sing. I guess he would since he comes from a line of musical talent. I was really excited to hear that he was working on a CD as well. I’ll be featuring that in one of the publications when it’s completed as well. Finally got to meet Will in person and he’s even more handsome in person (To me that is) than his Pics I’ve been seeing of him. However we had to cut our visit short as his mother was rushed to the hospital. (LORD! I know how those things go.) Come to find out later he tells me she’s doing much better. He should be released Wednesday if I recall. Good news to hear for sure.
My Contact in AL sent me some messages so I probable won’t be heading over there since he’s taking sick and the ailments he mentioned I surely don’t care to have especially during the summer months. So I called today to cancel that for a later time. However that leaves me Free to go back and see Will. So most likely I’ll leave on Thursday and stay two nights then head over to MS and back to the lower part of LA. It should be a nice trip again.
I went to see my parents today and my father was still complaining of his Eye hurting him from his Laser surgery from Friday. So I called the doctor and she called in some eye drops for him as she said that his eye probable got inflamed from the laser and he just need a little steroid boost. I went and got the drops and put him some in right away. I wasn’t there and Hour and he wanted more. I tell you I have to watch him. Still my mother will keep him in check on that. She’s finally learning the computer and scared to death of it. However I have to remember to be patient with her on it so she can learn as she’s going to teach another year of School. More power to the old bird. 70 years old and she’s keeping herself busy that’s for sure. I hope I’ll be that strong when I get up to that age. First Day of Vacation
Hello All
Well it’s my first day of Vacation and I can tell you it feels great. Got a lot done at work but you know it will be piled up for me when I return for sure. Still all is good. I’m feeling good and ready to hit the road tomorrow for sure. I’ll be keeping a track of my days but the Lap top I’ll be using may or may not load my blog so your best bet is to check back with me on Monday when I return for a couple of days.
Over all things are looking pretty good so far. Only one cancellation, well more like I just told him maybe this wasn’t something for him as he was I guess looking for a hook up or something. I don’t need a rep like that and trying to get a business started as well. May have some on to take his place but he’s kind of reluctant to do it so I’m not going to push it at all. Will give my Saturday night free. I may drive into Fort Worth and take some pic of one of my interviewees for and article I’m working on.

Good Weekend For Sure.
Hello My Friends.
Hope all are having a good weekend. Mine has been so far even though Friday started off look bad. Got to work on Friday and I knew I was getting Five new intakes in that day but headquarters decided to be slick and send me two extras straight from court at that. So needless to day they didn’t get there until later that evening and trying to hunt around on the computer find they’re paper work and they didn’t have much when they go there isn’t a easy task at all. However I put that aside as I was had the second of Six meetings I have a month Saturday so I would take care of that after the meeting in which I did. I saw my ex on line as well and sent him and IM and he didn’t respond so I guess he’s thinks I was pissed at him all week since I haven’t talked to him but the phone works bother ways and I’ll leave it at that for sure. Don’t need to be arguing or getting myself upset with my BD coming up. I remember last year I was miserable as he and I was going through a break up at the time and I wasn’t for sure where I was heading at that point. All I can say is you just don’t stop loving someone overnight but that’s been over a year now and I can move forward. Rather he feels that way or not he and I will always be friends as I have no bad or ill feelings towards him at all. Just a lot going on in his life right now and I can’t help him with any of it as I have to help myself before I do others. I am looking forward to spending time with my special friend from LA. However a long distance relationship would be kind of hard but it that happen I’m sure game as my ex didn’t live close either. However gas wasn’t as high as it is now so there will be some limitations for sure.
Went in my office and shut the door so I could get on my work I left there the day before. Chatted on line a little before heading to my meeting to help pass the time as well. Those Saturday are usually a Bitch session anyway so I’m usually not very attentive during that one at most parts. To be honest like most of then I’m ready for them to hurry it up so I can get out of there. Two hours later it was finally over and they actually gave us a little lunch this time which was good as one could handle what they’re dishing at you on a full stomach. To be honest all it did was make me a little sleepy so that really passed my time trying to stay away. I’m just glad my head didn’t bob do that I would bump the table with it. Then again I wasn’t the only one so I wouldn’t of been along that’s for sure.
Finally finished all my work around six that evening and thinking I was going to head straight to the house to spend the evening and ended up chatted with my new friend Bob on line as I told him I’d give him a call when I was leaving the office. He suggested that we do dinner and I accepted. I’m glad I did as it was a very nice dinner and evening all together. Spanish Flower off North Main and Airline. It was a nice place and good atmosphere and Good conversation as well. I have to say I love the mans hands, big block hands the way I like them and the rest wasn’t bad either. Right now he has a lot on his plate and at this point all I can be is a very supportive friend until the issues he and I discussed are over. Still I hope he would keep me in the running when he’s ready to make a change in his live. Either way I have made a new friend in when this friend ship will last for a very long time as he and I seem to be on the same page that’s for sure. Looking forward to spending more time with him that’s for sure. (
Sunday morning go up to get my Sunday paper from the 99 cent story then came home and looked at the sales paper and the other stuff I usually look at on Sundays. Really hadn’t done a lot as I’m being lazy today. I did contact some folks from on line that I would like to place their couples pics and Pictures of them and their pets in my publication. Don’t want a law suit on the first issue. Chatted with my co worker who had gastric bypass surgery and has lost 40 pounds so far as he’s only had the surgery a month now. She’s worried about clothes right now but since she’s loosing the weight I told her she really didn’t need to worry about that right now. Just get you three items to wear back and forth to work as you won’t be in them very long. She does look different since I seen her last. Of course she hasn’t been to work but she would stop by here and there. She’ll be back to work on Monday for sure.
Me I’ll be taking off Thursday to start my vacation and will be gone a week and a half. That same day I have to get the new contracts printed up and in two part form so I can have them with me. Word is really starting to get around and the website is really getting hits as well. I’m going to have to update it soon to announce the due date. Plus make some changes as well. My first stop will be Dallas when I leave out on Friday. Four model shoots the two days I’ll be there then back home for Monday and Tuesday to edit pictures and then off on Wednesday to see Jon in Al. I’ll say there about two to three days and then off to MS. And then Al. Brian can’t shoot until Sunday so I’ll figure that part out when I get there. Plus I’m going to meet Jimmy and the Pie hope. He’s even mentioned about doing a photo shoot and I just may take him up on his offer as well. We’ll see. Total of nine shoots for the week and the next task is to figure out who will be the Cover man. LOL Plus it will give me some time to really get some writing done as I have been slacking off on that for sure. Well that’s about it for now so until fingers do meet keys I hope all had a great weekend as mind surely did. Well all take care and will be looking forward to hear from some of you real soon. Happy July 4th.
Hello My Friend.
WOW! What a weekend not to mention 4th of July. Saturday I started planning my route for my photo shoots and as is I’m heading to Dallas first the weekend of July 14th. Leaving there and heading over to Louisiana then over to Alabama and back to Mississippi. From there I’ll be heading back home. Will get to see some friends I have been chatting with on line and the phone as well. Will be good to finally met them all in person as well. Sunday did research for some article I want to write for the publication. Not to mention I’m still having issues with my company name and all. Hope to have all that settled before September for sure. Still looking for an character artist as well some one who is gay preferred as he would understand what I’m trying to achieve here.
Monday was a slow day as I didn’t have much work to do and since I knew I was working Tuesday half a day I saved most of my work for them since I wasn’t going to get any intakes that day either. I talked to a few friends on the phone one being my Canadian Bacon and it was really good to hear his voice. He says he’s doing very well and has two more shows before he heads back to Canada. I told him his Lover there is really going to be in trouble when he returns. No word but straight to the bedroom. He’s not getting much action and it’s been a while since me as well so you know he’s good and ready for sure. Man would give to be a fly on that wall. Can anyone say Titanic? Or better yet just Rock the Boat.
Raining here most of the morning Tuesday and I mean hard. So much so I sat in the care for fifteen minutes before even getting out to run to the building. One thing about us black folk we don’t like to get out hair wet. HEHEHHEHEHE. Nappy, nappy, nappy. Well did my half a day at work and was running out of there when I left. If I had a loose tail pipe on the Rav I would have left it there as I was turning the corner to leave the place. They had Hamburgers and watermelon for lunch. One thing about this black person I’m not much of a watermelon eater that for sure. It really surprises most of my white friends and black ones too. Myth, “I thought all black folk ate watermelon.” Goes to show you can’t judge a book by its cover. Didn’t do a damn things at work or at least Job related as I don’t know why they wanted me there in the first place. I guess just to show their weight around. Still I worked on my project stuff and that time really helped for sure and since I wasn’t going a damn things but collecting my funds anyway nuttin wrong with that for sure.

However as I got closer to the house it got dark again so I knew it wasn’t over for sure. Decided to stay home and take advantage of the time for sure. Made some contacts and Plans seem to be changing by the day. LOL However I will have things ready for next week for sure. Look like I’ll be home for my BD as well. July 18th for those who maybe asking? Fireworks were going off here left and right as I live out side the city limits so fireworks are legal here. The house next door to us has been up for sale for a year and a half now which was originally foreclosed on and now it has a sign for rent as I thing someone bought the house to flip it and now can’t get rid of it and now they can’t even rent it either. Bad investment at the time for sure. I’d buy it but I just need to be away from relatives for awhile. Haven’t spoken to my ex in a few days either. However I did chat with Ron who is now living down south near Padre Island. He says he loves it there and I told him what’s going on with the company and all as well as the photo shoots too. He asked could he come along but I can’t help but thing his intention would be different. Have to keep business and pleasure separated for sure. Like he mentioned to me one time its Business. I have to keep the two separated as I don’t need bad reps and stuff like that. Well that’s about it for the day as it to me it turned out to be a lovely one for sure. Short but good. Bad investment at the time for sure. I’d buy it but I just need to be away from relatives for awhile. Haven’t spoken to my ex in a few days either. However I did chat with Ron who is now living down south near Padre Island. He says he loves it there and I told him what’s going on with the company and all as well as the photo shoots too. He asked could he come along but I can’t help but thing his intention would be different. Have to keep business and pleasure separated for sure. Like he mentioned to me one time its Business. I have to keep the two separated as I don’t need bad reps and stuff like that. Well that’s about it for the day as it to me it turned out to be a lovely one for sure. Short but good.
