Good Friday

Hell All
Today is Good Friday and I hope all are doing well. For me it’s slow going but I’m managing. Really didn’t want to get out of my bed this morning knowing it is a holiday for me. Then again one has to give a little to receive a little. So this six hours I’m doing today will be put to use. Especially when I have to take time off for my project as I’m getting closer to launch.

It sure is a beautiful day today. Sitting here at work looking out over the lake I have the feeling I need to be out there. However I’ll get to enjoy some of it when I get off later. The kids hear at work are in rare form this week as there have been a full moon out as well. Two fights that I know of this week and today no school so the staff are having to be creative to keep them occupied as the will bore easy. Two of the Katrina evacuees where trying to give me trouble this morning but I quickly put them in their place. It seems that they’ve been causing problems since they arrived. Can’t say if they’re trying to prove something or not but there are some issues for sure. We have a new cook that started this week and she’s a Katrina evacuee as well. I’ve only got to talk to her for a little while but what she’s gone though I wouldn’t wish that on anyone. Not to mention some of the stuff she was telling me about the employment and all. I really had no idea that New Orleans was in such debt. I’ve never been to in the city but have passed by it on my back from Fl. Elections going on there and most of the evacuees are being bused back to New Orleans to vote as they don’t trust the absentee ballot. That’s going to be and interesting race for sure especially since we’re facing hurricane season again her in about three more months.

I was chatting earlier and found out that the banks are open today as well. I can remember back when the Stores were all closed on Sunday and the malls except for the big change closed on Saturday at six. Now just about everyone is open. I do have to give credit to the founder of Chick-fil-A, he remembers those day and none of the store are open on Sundays. I haven’t talked to Jeff today. His mother is in town and staying foe a week. I’ll call later to see how things are going there. Got a call from one of my ex co workers today, the one who took interest in me sexually. Still and won’t give in as a married man can’t do much for me but give me emotional heartache. He left the job to do drive a truck as he’s in his training stages. He says he’s doing pretty good so I do wish him the best. Well that’s about it for now so until fingers meet keys. I hope all are having a wonderful holiday as well as I will make the best of it as well. Chat with you all soon my friends.
