Hey All
Well this weekend was a pretty busy but good one at that. Finished most of the Web project but so pissed right now as I can’t get the FTP files to contact the Host server. I’ve tried two different programs and no luck so I’m in tailed to believe that the problem consist with the hosting company and the bad part about it is I can’t get good support with them. Starting to make me think have I chosen the right hosting company? This email thing back and forth isn’t cutting it for me as they have no number to contact them at plus it’s seven to ten hours before I get a response back. I have one day left before my dead line goal but would have been two days early if the Web hosting was working correctly. I’m really believe that my pass work they sent me isn’t working correctly or I’m inputting it in wrong. Cant’ really blame anyone at this point. As I mentioned I’m so pissed that it’s affecting my job performance at work. You would think after twenty years of working the corrections business that one would be able to control his emotions very well. As my father would say today must be one of those days. So at this point I want to apologize to all who where expecting to get that email or IM with the address to the site. Hopefully in another day or so it I can get some support from these folks. At this point I’m not a very happy camper with them at all.
I went to the Auto show this weekend after only getting about four hours of sleep. Me, my brother and my best friend Steve all went. Got there shortly afternoon and didn’t leave until 4:30 that evenings as Steve got separated from us as he after he went to the restroom and I take it he got his barring off. My Brother and I finished up the show after waiting on him for about 30 minutes or so where we told him we would be and ended up waiting at one of the exits and Steve at another. Finally I decided to walk down to the other only exit they were letting folks out of the building in and there he was. All of us had been waiting about and hour on one another but it was all good. He said he tried to call me on my cell phone but I left mine in the vehicle for it was easy for it to fall off my click and I didn’t want to loose it. Dropped my brother off at home and Steve and I went to eat dinner. BBQ. Not the best I’ve had but it was ok as I was pretty hungry about that time.
My father was released from the Hospital Saturday evening and my nephew was released the past Wednesday. So things are getting back on tack there. I have an early morning appointment with him at the doctors office in which I’m not looking forward to getting up that early in the morning. Still as a good son I do what I have to do to get him to his appointments. Good thing for FMLA. Boss is still out of the office and I finished most of my work for today and just cursing right alone here. No new intakes either in which I’m glad of as well. We’re releasing sixteen of them this Friday but I guarantee they will send me sixteen more before the end of next week is over.
My Ex.’s BD is this Wednesday as well as my folk’s anniversary. 46 years they will have been married and here I am still trying to establish one. Go figure. Haven’t decided if I’m doing anything for My Ex or not. We do get a long well despite all that happen between us. It’s good that one can depart as friends as we where friends before lovers so that helps a whole lot. In the past I would have taken the day off to do something special for him but maybe Saturday I’ll treat him to dinner and a card. I haven’t been in a sexual mood lately as I was so pressed over the weekend to get my project completed so sex would for sure be out of the question. Well this is about it for now since I’m not in much of a mood right now. Playing a little smooth jazz in hopes it will get me out of my grumpy mood so until fingers meet keys. I hope all are having a wonderful day much better than I am that’s for sure. Will chat with you all later and all take care.

A Hump Day
Hello All
Hope all are doing well on this hump day. Things have been going well but I’m being tested at the same time as well. Monday Night had to place my father in the hospital as he was having some uncontrollable jerking that seemed to get worst throughout the evening. So my mother thought it best to take him to the hospital and they admitted him to run test on him. I called today they were running an EKG on him. They did dialyses on him Tuesday to as his days are Monday, Wednesday and Fridays. Some thing about his potassium was high. My nephew is in the hospital as well from not taking his insulin as he’s a diabetic and the doctors say if they hadn’t gotten to him in time within an hour he would have died. They ended up placing him in ICU as he was that critical. The bad part is this is the third time he’s done this away at collage. He’s had this since he was seven and knows what he’s suppose to do but if he’s under the impression that this is going a way he’s very sadly mistaken, So we’re under the impression that he’s not capable of living independent. Last I heard he was still in the hospital but out of ICU so I guess he’s recovering. The family all wants him back home but every things been paid for so we’re in a jam for now and moving him home isn’t an option or so say my sister.
Project starting to become nerve racking as I can’t seen to get some features to work not to mention my site manager isn’t working correctly either so I may have to start this all over from scratch which means I’ll be really busy this weekend I’ve been working late nights after work as I can’t work on it from work and I have to tell you I’m starting to feel it but if I have to start over I will do it as I don’t want just some shottie site up. The auto show will be in town this weekend as me, my best friend Steve and my brother will attend. It’s usually me and my brothers yearly outing together but this year my best friend decided he wanted to go as well. Not a problem as it’s more fun when you go in a group. However we’re still up in the air on Steve as he has to take his mother to the doctor on Friday and he’s sure they’re going to admit her as well, so he’s going to let me know what’s going on Friday night.
Chris Peen Died today and I was really sad to hear that as he was only forty years old. They’re saying it’s not any foul play involved and that’s good because I really liked him. Can’t dream about getting in his pants anymore however I did try and capture every picture of him with his short off as he was a hairy one as well, unlike his older brother. He will surely be missed especially by me. I also read that Richard Hatch is in trouble with the law as well, Convicted of Tax evasion. Now I know lot of gay men don’t like him but to me he’s a nice looking man and smart enough to win himself a million dollars I’d say he had it going on but now with the tax evasion I guess he wasn’t to smart after all. Hell you won a million dollars put it to work for you. Well we live and learn I guess.
Well I hope all will enjoy the rest of the week as it’s truly a humping week for me. Still it’s all good as it makes one a stronger person as I look at it. I want to thank all you who have sent message of caring on my father and Nephew’s behalf as I’m sure they will pull though. Here is to you all and wishing you all a wonderful rest of the week. Yawning Monday
Hello All
Monday the twenty third and I have to say I’m a little tire today. Then again everyone in the office seems to be that way, Lots of yawning going on today. I blame mind from lack of sleep as I was up to 5 in the morning on Saturday and no it wasn’t from doing the do. Just couldn’t get to sleep as my hours where all mixed up like a babies. I did use the time to catch up on my videos though so now I’m down to two tapes on the shelf. Didn’t get up until noon on Sunday and didn’t go to bed again that night until two in the morning. So yes I am a little sleepy.
Last week I slacked off on writing on here as most of the week I was in a bad mood. Friday had to be one of the days from hell for sure, when I left work I wasn’t in a good mood nor did I feel like even going near a computer. Like may dad would say. “It’s just one of those days son.” Lately it’s becoming more of those days. I guess pressure from the project. My website Debut is fast approaching and I’m just about ready. Hope to have it on line come Sunday for sure so we’ll see. Just putting some finishing touches on it right now and really can’t test it until the website is complete.
Sunday my dad fe1l again but lucky he didn’t hurt himself or break anything in the process. One of the only times I left the house this weekend I picked up the Sundays paper and behold my old Skating coaches son whom I referred to as my nephew is on the cover as he prepares for the Olympics. I stopped skating competition at thirty as my career with the Texas Department of Corrections was interfering with my practice time. Back when I skated there was no such thing as roller blades or in line skates as they call them today which is where his career really excelled. Plus once you went pro one couldn’t skate amateur anymore. So when inline skates came in and they started paying and sponsoring I have to say he made a substantial career not to mention fatten his pocket book as well. At seventeen he was on his way to be a very wealthy young man all from skating. Last time I spoke with him he was pulling in at least 60g’s a year and has traveled all over the world. He bought a corvette at the age of 19 and like his father changed vehicles about every other year. Well I think his mother has something to do with him getting rid of the vette. LOL I use to have a thing for his father for the longest as we have been friends for well over twenty five years. I have to say he has made a nice living for himself in the skating rink busy as well. I haven’t seen them in about three to four years now but do call on BD’s and special occasion. Never got in his pants but he was packing as I have seen it. He was always rubbing it as well unconscious while clothed and of course it would get me to wondering what it would be like to have some of that. And don’t let him wear some shorts or take that shirt off. What memories those where. Then again when you’re not gay of have any tendencies either I was fighting a loosing battle with that. Being Young dumb and full of cum one didn’t know to better then. I guess that’s where the lessons come in at.
Tonight when I get off work I’m going straight home as it will be close to eleven in the evening when I get home ( My Late night tonight) so most likely I’m going to head to bed and get my ass some rest. Have to figure out what I’m going to do for lunch for our meeting this Wednesday as I will have to provide the food and drinks. My boss will be out of town again but didn’t give me some funds for the set up as well. I still have a day to go so I will figure it out by tomorrow. Well that’s about it for snow so until fingers meet keys I hope all had a wonderful weekend and that this week be a good one as well. I know I will surely try to this week myself. Thursday
Hello All
Well it’s been a few days since I’ve written in here and yes I’m still alive. Been so busy at work and the project as I’m reaching a deal line but still on track so things are going well there. I wasn’t able to load a test site to my blog so all will have to wait until next weekend when the real site it ready to see it and give me your reviews. Looking forward to hearing what some of you all have to say as I have worked hard on it. Work as been a little crazy as Sunday I got a report on Saturday late evening they had a riot at the job. Having worked in the adult facility I’ve had my fair share of those as was glad I wasn’t there to deal with it either. Kids I heard where hyped all weekend which doesn’t surprise me one bit. I’ve always said that some one is going to get hurt as the staff isn’t properly trained for that. Gang related mostly as we ended up shipping three off and two others having stitches from their injuries. Last Monday was a holiday here and since I didn’t get up until noon the next day I missed the parade but got to see most of it at four as they had a rebroadcast show.
To of my co workers last family members this week one lost two within the last two weeks so it’s really been trying time for them. However we started a collection as we always do and hope that will being some easement to their grieving period. Hump day rolled around and nothing special there. Had the fifth of six meetings I attend a month and normally I would eat before I go in as the presenter for this one usually don’t prepare a good meal. However they had pizza and it was good but not enough so I was glad I ate before I went in. I prepare the meal next week so there will be plenty and good food as well. Think I’ll do BBQ chicken wings. LOL Work as usually and since I only received two this week I had a little time to catch up on things. Got a report from the Bear run in AZ and heard it was very nice. Just sorry I wasn’t able to attend. I’ll for sure make a point this next time to do so.
I got up this morning as it was very cold in the house. Temps are still dropping in the city and there is an over cast today as well. Rain maybe in the forecast for tomorrow or Saturday so that one will have to wait and see. Day should go by smoothly so we’ll see how it unfolds and I’ll be sure to update all on it as well. Saturday The 14th
Hello All
Hope all are doing well this fine Saturday morning? I’m moving a little slow this morning as my day was kind of screw up after getting up way early than I normally do to take my father to Dialyses. However it’s a duty especially since he gave me life and took care of me all these years it’s time for me to do the same. Makes me wonder what I will do when I get to be his age and no kids. I guess I will hit that turn when it comes around. Friday was the 13th and I had to be extra cautious that day. I almost had four wrecks on the way to and from work yesterday. Things were a little crazy at that. I think I’m going to start carrying a disposable camera in my vehicle in case I do get in a accident I can have pic’s for the insurance company. I thought about a digital one but just my luck I go to use the thing and the batteries are dead so I think a disposable would do.
At work on Friday I yet recieved another two to give me a total of 13 for the week. Lucky we didn’t have that many kids going home over the weekend as something would have gotten left out for sure. We ended up shipping three off during the week as two of them test results came back from the lab and they tested positive for cocaine. The third just couldn’t get his act together and work the program. We have received one who is of the family and he’s really having a tuff time as some of the kids are constantly picking on him and he hasn’t learned how to ignore then. However he does need to tone it down a little as well. I have spoke with him and told him he needs to do his time and get out of here by ignoring what they are saying but when the first one puts his hands on you they crossed the line then and you handle your business. Although we don’t promote fighting on any facility there comes a time especially when it comes down to our little up coming brothers that one has to do what one has to do. He’s been there about a month and a half and he’s moving up the rakes of the program but it hasn’t been easy for him. So I do keep a distant eye on his and have a talk with him from time to time to see how he’s doing? Only seven went home before the cut off time so I guess the majority of them will leave on Saturday morning.
Well it’s a three day weekend for me and I will use the time wisely for sure. Nice beautiful day out today and rain isn’t due in until late Sunday night. A marathon will be held on Sunday morning and on Monday a parade. I won’t attend as it’s suppose to rain but I’ll watch it on TV that’s if I’m awake. No big plans going on this weekend I rented The Transporter 2 and it was entertaining. No awards but it was good. I also have about nine video tapes to catch up on so I will for sure do that this weekend as well. Will go out and get brakes for my vehicle today and most like put them on Monday since it’s going to be nasty out and while I’m at it I might as well change the oil too. Since it’s a standard I will need to get the transmission oil changed as that should be done once a year and I’m over due. I usually have the dealer do that one. Well that’s about it for now So until fingers meet keys all have a safe and happy weekend. Looking forward to chatting with all on soon. Hugs my friend.

Today Was A Good Day
Hello Everyone
So far it’s been a good week but at work they have been sending me intakes everyday this week. Received three today which gave me a total of seven this week so I have been working for sure. Yesterday and old convict from when I first started in the adult prison system came to my facility to speak to the residents. He mentioned he had been out for eleven years as he did twenty years. He entered when he was 16 years old and still married as he got married to his wife while he was incarcerated. I was good to see that he was doing something positive to try and redirect the younger folk. Rather it works or not well that’s to be seen.
Ran into a slight problem with the Website but I seem to have it taken care of and didn’t need my friends help in CA after all however I do thank him for offering the help all the same. Wonderful invention the internet as it’s allows me to contact people that I wouldn’t normally be able to meet. Had the third of Six meeting I have a month today and the lunch menu was spaghetti and I have to say it was pleasant. Boss wasn’t in so you know it was on the rest of the day. Have to say things ran smoothly and we actually got some work done without her being there. Well Friday is the 13th and I just want to get though the day without incident for sure. Won’t have that many going home this coming weekend so things shouldn’t be hectic unless they send me more residents.
I called my ex today to see if we’re still on for me to come over to work on his computer since I have to format the dive and all. He said yes and mentioned he went to the doctor today about his shoulder as he’s had what looks like sis on his shoulder blade. He said the doctor gave him some muscle relaxers to see if that will make it go away if not then they going to send him to get and MRI. I’m sitting here as I counting the minutes down till I’m out the door I’m contemplating going over there as I’m feeling full from the large lunch and Dinner I had today. Still I made a promise to him to come out and do it so I will go ahead and get that out of the way.
Since my boss will be out the rest of the week I will take advantage of that time a complete some of my paper work and maybe work on some of my project as well. Well over all today was a good day. Getting a little cool but nice all the same. Hope all had a wonderful day as well. Looking forward to hearing from you all as well. So until fingers meet keys all have a good one and be safe the rest of the week as we’re on the hump.
So far it’s been a good week but at work they have been sending me intakes everyday this week. Received three today which gave me a total of seven this week so I have been working for sure. Yesterday and old convict from when I first started in the adult prison system came to my facility to speak to the residents. He mentioned he had been out for eleven years as he did twenty years. He entered when he was 16 years old and still married as he got married to his wife while he was incarcerated. I was good to see that he was doing something positive to try and redirect the younger folk. Rather it works or not well that’s to be seen.
Ran into a slight problem with the Website but I seem to have it taken care of and didn’t need my friends help in CA after all however I do thank him for offering the help all the same. Wonderful invention the internet as it’s allows me to contact people that I wouldn’t normally be able to meet. Had the third of Six meeting I have a month today and the lunch menu was spaghetti and I have to say it was pleasant. Boss wasn’t in so you know it was on the rest of the day. Have to say things ran smoothly and we actually got some work done without her being there. Well Friday is the 13th and I just want to get though the day without incident for sure. Won’t have that many going home this coming weekend so things shouldn’t be hectic unless they send me more residents.
I called my ex today to see if we’re still on for me to come over to work on his computer since I have to format the dive and all. He said yes and mentioned he went to the doctor today about his shoulder as he’s had what looks like sis on his shoulder blade. He said the doctor gave him some muscle relaxers to see if that will make it go away if not then they going to send him to get and MRI. I’m sitting here as I counting the minutes down till I’m out the door I’m contemplating going over there as I’m feeling full from the large lunch and Dinner I had today. Still I made a promise to him to come out and do it so I will go ahead and get that out of the way.
Since my boss will be out the rest of the week I will take advantage of that time a complete some of my paper work and maybe work on some of my project as well. Well over all today was a good day. Getting a little cool but nice all the same. Hope all had a wonderful day as well. Looking forward to hearing from you all as well. Marathon Weekend
Hello All my Friends
Hope all had a wonderful weekend as I know I did. I must apologize for not posting anything on Friday. As my dad would say it was just one of those days. I didn’t go to work that day as my sinuses were giving me the blues again so after I called in I took me something and laid it down. I slept from noon to about seven that even as I must have been pretty tired. Didn’t even bother with putting on some clothes are anything. It was nice to lounge around the house without a care in the world. However when I did get up I was feeling wonderful so I guess I just needed more rest. Been working on the project so much that I guess I have been loosing track of time.
Saturday rolled around and I got ready to go to my staff meeting. One of Six I have to attend throughout the month, only one on Saturday in which I’m glad of. I ended up staying four hours as I caught up on my paper work in which I’m good for the week. My best friend Steve called me as we were suppose to go to dinner and the Boat show later that evening but he was running behind on one of his job sites. Since the boat show was closing at nine and knowing us by the time we finished dinner it wasn’t going to be enough time for us to cover the whole show floor so I said why don’t we do dinner or something and he made the comment, “How about Something.” I replied, “Why Steve what do you mean?” He went on about him going to see Broke Back Mountain on Friday and how he had been thinking about the sex scene all day not to mention the hard on he said he produced for six hours. All I could reply was, “Oh my.” Steve and I have a past but I didn’t know if I was up to having sex with him that night. It wasn’t a full moon and I have come to a point in my life that I don’t want to have meaningless sex anymore. However it had been while and I was game so I told him I’ll get me a bite to eat as I was running late as well and meet me at the house. He showed up about 7:30 and we got busy. It was shortly after 10:00 when he left as he was getting hungry. Since I had eaten I wasn’t hungry. Just before 11:00 came around I got a call from my Ex as he was having issues with his computer and since I built it I do stand behind my work. I tried to walk him through what I thought was wrong with it but it wasn’t getting us anywhere. So I told him I’ll be over to look at it. Got there and looked at it and I couldn’t fix it at all. I had no idea what was wrong with it as I couldn’t open any of the web browsers nor do a restore point either. So the only alternative would be was format the drive and I didn’t bring the master disks with me so I told him I’ll have to do them on Wednesday. I have to tell you after having Sex with Steve I was somewhat still in the mood especially after having some wine coolers left over from the New Year and since I’m more attracted to Him than Steve well things happened. It was even all worth getting that warning ticket from the Highway patrol on the way up there as they don’t get out without they’re books. Let’s say it was 5:30 or so in the AM when I arrived home. Lord Help Me! Needless to say I was very sore from using muscles I hadn’t used in a long time. I have to say I did get a workout and he wanted it as much as I wanted it too. He made a comment to me as to how I know his life is very complicated but it had been a while for him as well as I figured he had moved on with this person he’s been talking so highly of. However it doesn’t change a thing about us becoming partners again. Right now in our lives it’s just not a good idea. He will always have a special place in my heart and having sexual relations with him to me isn’t meaningless as we do care for one another but there are a lot of issues to iron out. However I won’t let myself fall in love with him again to be hurt again. I have a very promising future ahead of me not to mention business opportunity and who knows my prince just might be out there for me closer than I think.
Sunday rolled around and I was awakened at noon to my brother knocking at my door telling me Steve was here. Needless to day I was surprised so I told my brother to tell him to wait in the study and let him surf the internet to entertain himself until I’m ready. Hour later I was ready and mentioned to him I was going to call but he got a misunderstanding of it but he was there so we took off not to mention I was tired and sore as hell after being twisted every which way but loose. Didn’t tell him that and he didn’t seem to question my sleep degradation. LOL Went to lunch and had Mexican food then off to the boat show. Man I felt the soreness in my body and sat down every opportunity I got. The show was big and took up just about every inch of the Reliant Center. Took us three hours to walk it all and we still may have missed a few things. They had watercrafts in which I was really interested in but not many on display. RV’s in which I was surprised to see that at a boat show but they were there not to mention the majority of them where sold after only three days of been open. I think I enjoyed RV’s more than the boats and when the RV show makes it around here I’ll have to make a point to attend that as well. Most of the more expensive boats one had to remove their shoes before going on them and I wasn’t in any mood of bending over to take off my shoes every time I wanted to see one of the luxury boats especially after a marathon of sex. Still I seen a lot of men who I figured were regulars every year walking around in sandals and short since we’ve been having spring like weather they fit right in. Eye candy was everywhere and I remember why I liked going to some of these events as every man known to the Houston area comes out these events. I’m wiping the drool from my lips as type. I made it home shortly after 8 that evenings and I was ready to lay it down from lack of sleep and over sexed. What a weekend that was. LOL
Monday got up and worked on the Website again and running into a few problems but I’m calling a friend to get some help on it. On the way to work, Houston’s Finest and their Evil Knievel units (Motorcycle Police) where out in force. During my 45 minute drive to work I ran into two car units and three bike units. It just reminded me to slow my ass down for sure. I wasn’t running late but I did stop off at the doctors’ office to have them fill out my FMLA so I’ll have it for the year in case there is a problem with my father. I can take off and not have to worry about it counting against me. After all this is my pay raise year but a lot of good it’s going to do me as the cost of living is going up with no cost of living raise in site to go with my regular raise. Oh well I’ve been doing ok so far so just stick to my guns and I’ll be ok. Found out I was going to receive two new intakes today when I arrived and it was ok as long as they didn’t send me 5 or 10 as Monday is my catch up day with Tuesdays and Thursdays being my intake arrival days. Things went smoothly for a Monday and fit them in my routine nicely as well. Other than being my late day things went well. Really couldn’t’ complain.
Weather man said we’re in for a climate change her over night and I could tell it was coming as I hit rain on the way home. Talked to Ken on the phones and invited him to be my guest at TBRU. Since it was still three months away he still had time to make up his mind and make arrangements to go if he could. No pressure as I know Steve wouldn’t be able to go as business for his business would be picking up about that time. Can’t ask my Ex as he wouldn’t have anyone to watch the kids so it would be nice to go with someone to enjoy one another and the party that’ll be going on for four days. Plus I can do some networking and take a few pictures and do a few commentaries as well as interviews for the website and publication.
They announced the Stars for the Rodeo today and as promised here they are. To start the show off Gorge Strait will open on February 28th, March 1st Trisha Yearwood, March 2nd, Sheryal Crow, March 3rd, Maze and Raven, one of these will be a matinee. March 4th, Martina McBride, March 5th, Clay Walker, March 6th, Robert Earl Keen and Cross Canadian Ragween one of these will be a matinee. March 7th John Forgerty, March 8th Toby Keith. I may attend this one as I love me some Toby Keith.
March 9th, Maroon 5, March 10th, Pat Green, March 11th, Lee Ann Womack, March 12th, Jay Perez, March 13th, Lee Ann Rimes, March 14th, Larry The Cable Guy and Corry Morrow One of these will be a matinee as well. I think the cable guy is cute and he can eat crackers in my bed anytime, May attend this one too. March 15th, Alan Jackson, March 16th, Hilary Duff, March 17th, Lonestar, March 18th, Brooks and Dunn,
and closing things out on March 19th, Gretchen Wilson. I’m sure you will recognize some one from the pictures I have included. 
Well that’s about it for now as I’m very late publishing this one. I want to apologize for that as well. There was a lot to add as you can see. First Hump Day Of 2006
Hello My Friends
Hope all are well on the first hump day of the year. I woke up this morning with a lot of things on my mind, Mostly things to deal with my writing. After brushing my teeth I went to the computer to make note and place them later in the story lines. A lot of events will be happening here in Houston over the next few months, the first to start this weekend January 6th is the Houston Boat show which celebrates isn’t 50th year here in Houston and reports over the years has become one of the biggest in the US according to their website. YEAH right. LOL However the event will run that Friday until the next Friday evening to give a weeks’ worth of viewing and since it’ll be my best friend Steve’s BD on Friday I’ll have to treat him to a tour. He and didn’t get to make it last year so this should be fun. Tracy Byrd (picture showing) will be there to lure folks in as well giving one of his outdoor seminars as it’s reported he’s one of country music’s star who is still and avid outdoorsman. January 28th is the Houston Auto Show. Five days this one runs as I look forward to it every year. Being an avid car lover me and my brother usually make this event together as it’s one of out yearly outings. He and I are usually there on the first day so we can collect the brochures and info on the new vehicle. What we really go for are the Concept cars. Next up will be Mardi Gras on Galveston Island which will run from February 17th to 28th. I’ve never attended but I heard it’s not as good as what New Orleans use to have. I’m sure New Orleans will have one but it won’t be the same for years to come. February 28th to March 19th will be the start of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. We have five says left before they announce the Entertainer this year and I’ll be sure to post who all will be there as well. March 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th is LUEY weekend (Let Us Entertain You) one of Houston’s Bear events. I believe this is the 33rd one this year. The story behind LUEY was after Mardi Gras it was a way of keeping the party going for at least one more weekend. This next one isn’t really a part of Houston but more less Dallas. TBRU (Texas Bear Round UP) It usually has over 700 men in attendance and it a would known event. I plan on attending both this year as well. More to network for my project that the party part. Well I may have a little un there. Will be looking forward to meeting the new folks and some I’ve meet on the Bear chats as well. So as you can see Houston will be pretty busy come the next three months at least. However all good.
Work today is rolling right along and no problems so far. Catching up on my paper work as well so I’m going good. Had my first meeting of the New Year and it went well. Food was somewhat good as well however one of the two presenters this week is out on vacation so I ate before I came to work as I figured it would be filling to hold me over. To my surprise it was ok. Lots of fruit and finger sandwiches of ham Turkey and Chicken, I have to say the Champaign Mustard was on. I’ll have to pick me up a bottle of that when I make sandwiches at that house. No new intakes today either so it’s really going to roll smoothly. Today is major clean up day and the chemicals are staring to get to me but the building has to be clean so I can’t put up with it for a little while. Got my mothers DSL up and running last night. I haven’t heard from her yet but I’m sure I will. She’ll be a happy camper now. LOL Well there isn’t much else to talk about here then again I think I had enough to talk about as well. Frist Day To Work Of The New Year
Hello My Friend.
Hope all had a wonderful holiday? Tuesday and I’m back to work as it’s been going well so far. No big surprises except for the mound of paper work on my desk, LOL. No new intakes today so it really was smooth sailing. Had to go back to my friend Alan’s today to get a keys to the lock for the hard drive case on the computer he gave me that I built for him a few years back. The hard drive crashed on it and he didn’t bother to call me so I could get him a new one to replace. However the sent the hard drive to try and retrieve the data from it and it was to far gone. They could retrieve some of it but the real important stuff, well it was a loss. He ended up getting an E-machine and I asked him could I have the parts from the old one and he said that was fine. All I have to do is add a new hard drive clock the speed and get a monitor and it’s ready to go. I think it will make a nice little unit for me brother as he can stay off mine especially since I’ll have a lot of the material from the business on there. Can’t afford a crash however I do back up but sometimes that still isn’t enough not to mention the hassle of down time it would put me in. Plus he likes to down load and I’ve warmed him of that. When they come knocking at the door I’m going to direct them to him. Got to go by my folk tonight to find out what’s wrong with here DSL Not looking forward to it but I need to take care of it as she’s go the service and can’t use it. They’ll be sleep when I get there anyway so I won’t have to deal with Fix this or do that. The weather has been changing so that my sinuses are giving me the blues. Two nights in a row I’ve had to take something for it. I hope I’m not getting an infection of something. I woke up this morning and it was 67 in the house as I’m sure it was much colder outside. By the time I left for work it was about78 as this kind of weather yo, yo’ n will make you sick for sure. Since I had the flu shot I don’t expect to get sick with that this year but one never knows. Well I hope all had a great an wonderful day and got back in the swing of things as well. I know I did. Monday Second Day Of 2006
Hello All
Monday and I’m off from work. YEAH! The last of my three day weekend. Recapping the second half of my day Yesterday I got up just before noon and did all the funky fresh things, you know the three s’s, and went to the computer to start work on my project. Worked on that for about two hours and then went over to my folks for my black eyed peas and Greens. My brother had Barbequed as well so it was a nice meal for all. Dad was a little tired as I have been noticing him turning in early these days. Then again mother says he’ll get up in the middle of the night and eat a snack. Not much I can do there but he’s living out his days the way he wants to and if he’s happy I’m happy with him. 70 years old I just hate to see him so frail. I look at others his age and see how vibrate they are but then again they haven’t gone though what my father has either. My parents worked hard for what they have and provided for us. I can say I had a very good childhood and being from a black family we lived a little higher on the hog then mast average black family during that time and the values they have instilled in us I will cherish the rest of my days. I am very grateful to still have them with us as they’ve both been though a lot this past year. They’re fighter and still kicking and I’m happy to see that as well. I chatted on line as I had 92 instant messages waiting for me to be answered. I guess I’m a popular person. However I do want to thank all for the well wishes and encouragement on my project as well. Started chatting with KEN today as well and come to find out we have so much in common it’s uncanny. I’m looking forward to chatting with him some more as well as getting to know him better. He travels often to my neck of the woods so the chances of us doing dinner or something are very good. Here’s to you my new found friend. My best friend Steve finally got his High speed cable connected after Time Warner had been giving him the run around as to who was suppose to run the line to his home. Long story there but they finally got it right and he’s up and running. Now I can send him some of the funny emails I receive from my friends over at NASA and around the world. I also walked him over the phone on how to install his Firewall as he didn’t have one on there except for the one windows provided and that does well but nothing like Zone Alarm and it’s free. Since he’s not really computer literate he’ll try to answer questions that really doesn’t pertain to what he needs to do but we got it up and running and it’s doing fine now. Thanks Zone Labs for the free software, I’ve been using it for years and it’s never failed me. Today I got up looked outside as it’s an unusual warm day especially this time of year. I even had the air on all last night. However it’s a beautiful day outside and I think I will take advantage of it later on in the day. Don’t need to clean the vehicle as I did that last week and he’s still looking good and shinny. I’ll work on the project some more today and hit the gym as well to keep things tone. I don’t’ want to bulk up at all. With my Bubble butt it’s already hard to find pants that will fit me well. However I haven’t been getting any complaints from past lovers in that department. LOL Well that’s about it for now so until fingers meet keys all have a wonderful day and continue to be safe my friends. HAPPY NEW YEAR 2006
Hello All
Happy 2006. New year is here and I hope all are doing well and didn’t drink to much either. I ended up spending the evenings at home which was ok by my. I did do dinner with a long time friend as it was nice to get out before all the party goers got out. It’ was noisy at first here with the fire works. The city has a band on bottle rockets since we’ve been going through a dry spell but that didn’t stop a few folks out still sending them up. My neighbor across the street from us was doing a lot of them but he quieted it down come eleven that night in respect to his neighbors and I respect him for that as well. Other than that it was a very smooth night. Since I’m not much of a drinker I didn’t drink much however I did stop by our local Spec’s warehouse and picked me up a four pack of wine coolers and a couple of very small bottles of Arbor Mist. So that was my NEW YEAR celebration. My Dad called me and wished me a Happy Hew Years as well and I wished all my friends on my pal lists as well as Emails a Happy New Year as well.
