Six Days Till Xmas

Hello All
Hope all are doing well as I’m doing great. Six more days until Xmas and eleven more till the New Year as the Cards and gifts are starting to arrive. Had a nice weekend I must say so myself. Did dinner and a movie and even got me some as well so you know I was beaming all weekend. LOL Made a few phone calls and got a couple from long time friends I only here from here and there. I did relax a bit until my mother called and told me to come help get my father up after falling in the restroom. He still thinks he can do the things he’s done in the past before he took ill and its good that he has the spirit but I told him don’t do that again as he went into the restroom without his walker. He’s really having a hard time keeping his balance but he still attempts to test himself and ends up on his behind every time. I think he’s starting to get the message. However he did enjoy going up and visiting with his cattle. To see his face light up is well worth it every time. Brother has to have brakes on his vehicle as they were grinding metal to metal. He just had them done about six months ago. I told him he must be riding his brakes or something. Then again I saw a lot of brake dust on his wheels so I’m thinking the pads they used where cheap. Speaking of Brakes I’m going to have to do a lot to my vehicle come on the New Year. Because of the distance I drive to work I can put thirty three thousand miles a year on a vehicle and since mine is three and a half years old and 121 thousand miles on it well it’s time to get the timing belt and serpentine belt changed as well. I have the transmission fluid changed once a year and do my regular oil changes as well. However I don’t do mine as frequent as the manual says as I do a lot of highway miles plus that gets expensive. Moble oil makes a great 1500 mile oil and it I’m truly a fan of it. Work has been pleasant today especially since our population is down to 116 from 144. I’ll enjoy it while I can as I know they’ll be sending me about ten more this week. Friday is a holiday day for us but I’m working it as we’re sending a majority of the population home for the holidays. Extended home visit. We’re taking bets on how many will violate their probation. Didn’t work on any of the project this week as I had so much going on but during the holidays I will take the time to do some more writing and work on the website as well. This is all happening so fast it’s kind of scary but I’m keeping a level hard about it. I still have to call the secretary of state to do some changing to the company name and I’ll have reached my goal for this year. Next year will be the make or break.
