Hello All
Hope all are doing good as for me I’m thoroughly exhausted. Got up this morning and didn’t want to get out of my bed due to it being cold in the house and my bed was so warm and cuddly. However the alarm clock kept going on every tem minutes and it was an hour later when I finally did get out of it and that was only cause I have to use the restroom. Plus I knew I had to pick up my father from dialyses at twelve o’clock but that usually mean 12:30 or so. I arrived about 12:15 and he was just finishing up. He looked like he was just drained or mad. I asked him if he was alright and he told me it was just one of those days. I replied I know how you feel POP. Yeah I call him POP. Though of you who know my dad has cattle in Huntsville and he mentioned something about going to see about this weekend. One has dropped it’s calf and he’s taken three to auction. However we’re in for rain at midnight this Friday night and to run all day on Saturday as well. However it’s not going to spoil my plans for the weekend either. Steve my Best friend and me are going out to eat dinner and move, Looking to see Broke Back Mountain. I hadn’t seen him in a few weeks however we’ve been in contact on almost a daily bases. Work today was ruff as I may have mentioned in my earlier blog. We have Twenty kids released today, graduated from our Vocational Education Program. We call it (VEP) for short. This program was call Youth Build and you can look it up on the internet under that name but when we lost the grant for that Harris County took over and called it the VEP program. The program helps the teens get their GED and teaches them a trade for when they’re released as well. This program last about four months or each quarter. So this group of twenty the time has ended and they graduated today. I wasn’t at the ceremony but I heard it was very lovely with refreshments and all. On top of those twenty being released we also released seven to eight as well. Good as we have been over crowded but I’m sure they will send us more next week to replace the ones that left. We have two more groups of twenty in the VEP program and since the college is out for the holidays the staff will have to get pretty inventive to keep them busy. Again the majority of them will go home on and extended Home visit for the holidays. Some will get up to six day home. I feel its way to much time as some of them are tempted to violate their probation during that time. When I leave work today I’m going straight home and hit the shower and then roll into my bed and catch up on my video tapes. However I’ve been thinking about one of my co workers at work who’s been joking with me and I think he’s getting serious about hooking up. However I’m not taking him to serious and second he’s married and I’m sure not going to get caught up in that again. I do have to say he’s a beefy country man at that and it would be nice but I will exert control for sure. All we can be are friends for sure. Temperature has dropped here and since the facility is next to the lake as well it’s really cold out. Good cuddling weather for sure. Found a good hosting company for my project as I narrowed it down to two but one but had what I needed but I had to evaluate what I was actually going to do with my project and made my decision from that. So I hope to have it all finished and running come the middle of January. I just got my new software in so it shouldn’t be much longer on getting the prototype up for testing. Well that’s about it for now. Again hope all have a good weekend as I surely plan to as well so until fingers meet keys all be safe and well. Hugs.
