Busy Friday

Hey All
Thanks goodness Friday has arrived. Today got up and back bothering me a little bit but not much. I still plan on going to the company Xmas party to night, oh what to wear. LOL Besides if I don’t my work wife wouldn’t forgive me. My pop called me yesterday and asked me to pick him up from Dialyses today and I did. It will be a year since he started that this month and he was very hesitant to do it but if he wanted to keep living it was necessary. I hadn’t seen him since Thanksgiving and today he was looking a little frail not to mention sounding hoarse, probable from the weather. Then again the dialyses does take a lot out of him. One can question as to why this had to happen to a very health man but I know I would never get an answer so I’ve learn to except what’s happen to home and move on. I can only imagine what he feels like to loose his independents as he was always on the go and love to go fishing. He still thinks he can do some of the things he did before his stroke in 2000, this year along heart conditions, Dialyses and breaking his hip from falling. His balance hasn’t been well from the dialyses and they for sure had to make some adjustments to get that right. It’s been and eye opener for sure but I wouldn’t change a thing to continue to have him around. It’s good to still have both my parents around as I feel I’m truly blessed. So I enjoy the times and moments we do have together. Mother will finally have to retire next year as she turns 70. I’m glad as she really doesn’t need to be driving the distance she does to go back and forth to work. However I have fallowed in her foot steps on the distance driving. Hey I look at it this way it’s a job and it pays the bills plus I’m buying my home so I’m not about to sale it to move closer to my job. Not if they were really paying me the big bucks, Hell YEAH I’d move! When I got to work the lunching was about to end as they were presenting certificates for achievements and awards. I called ahead to have tray saved for me and I have to say it was on. Just have to leave room for the party dinner tonight. I haven’t heard from Jay at all this week as I’ve had a few of you ask me about him. I figured if he stood me up then he wasn’t going to call and at least give me and explanation. Oh well I look at it this way. I guess it wasn’t meant to be. I’m not really sweating over it that’s for sure. Well that’s about it for today I guess I will give and update tomorrow on how the party went as well. Until fingers meet keys all say safe and be well too. Big Bear Hugs.
